We spent a pleasant Christmas and New Year in Tenerife a couple of years back. With temperatures around 19 degrees, it’s certainly a lot cosier than the UK!
We’ve just found out some organised activities that may sway you towards Tenerife.
Many of the island’s urban areas will be decorated with festive lights as well as outdoor poinsettias. For a traditional seasonal Spanish bite, visitors should sample the many nougats and roasted chestnuts available from the street vendors and craft stalls selling handmade Christmas gifts and nativity figurines are also worth a visit.

A great number of balancing, juggling and aerial acrobatics will entertain audiences from 3rd to 11th January 2015 in the Santiago Martín Pavilion in La Laguna.
